Days 356-360

The year is drawing to an end and so is my photo journey. I can't say I've come far, but I've definitely enjoyed documenting our year. It's nice to look back and remember the little, seemingly unimportant, moments from months ago, and I'm sure it'll be even nicer a few years down the line. I may continue this for another year, but I may just stick to taking just as many pictures and posting more often on my regular blog, we'll see.

On Wednesday, I had to go to the city, and since I got done fairly early, I stopped by the wonderful Guggenheim Museum
Sasha and papa watching something or other on the computer (Sasha adores watching the video to the nursery rhyme "Alouette", so all day long she tells me that when papa gets home, he'll show it to her)

Helping decorate grandma and grandpa's tree - I love the look of concentration on her face!
Christmas lights on December 25th
The crazy blizzard as seen from our window. Needless to say, we're staying in for the next couple of days.

Days 354 and 355

When we have bubbles in the bathtub, Sasha always asks for more and then grabs a handful and rinses them under the water, saying "buh bye, bubbles". It's too funny!

Days 348-353

Sasha put down her two kitties for a nap, complete with blankets! She's such a sweet caring little kiddo!
I ventured out into the city once more on Wednesday and took some time to really enjoy all the holiday decorations and light that is NY in December!
Sash was fascinated with my giant puffy down slippers (by the way, the greatest thing ever!)
On the 17th, I went to get two wisdom teeth pulled, so I was somewhat out of it most of the weekend, so I missed days 351 and 352, but here's a cute one from Sunday, day 353.
This is Sasha's new ornament: we get her a new ornament each year and then when she's grown up and gets her own trees, we'll give them all to help start up her collection!

Days 343-347

This is how my kid eats sandwiches
And this is apparently what she does when I ask her to smile now
Another fake smile - notice my purse and her pink dress-up shoes
Sticker on her nose
The tree is up and all decorated, I thought I'd play with the manual focus a little bit

Days 336-342

Sasha told me she was a ghost after she put a blanket on her head!

The kiddo likes dressing all by herself now...

 My mom :)
We ran out of candles and had to use left-over birthday candles for our menorah...
Attempted holiday photos - this is the best shot I got
My sister and I (with some of her friends) went to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular on Wednesday and wandered around the neighborhood a bit after the show

Days 333-335

I made (and I'm using that word very broadly here) a dress for Sasha out of an old pillow case. It's supposed to be very very simple, but I'm still trying to figure out my mom's sewing machine, so it didn't come out quite wearable. And to top it off it was giant on the kiddo!
On Tuesday, I ventured into a craft store and had a blast, but really had to stop myself from buying way too much.

Happy Hanukkah!
